Refund & Cancellation Policy

Relay ("we", "us", "our") provides rental due diligence verification reports for tenants and landlords. This policy explains when a refund or cancellation is possible.

1. Before verification begins

If you cancel your request before our team has started any checks (identity review, calls, or document verification), you are eligible for a full refund. Requests are typically actioned within a few hours of payment, so cancellations should be made as soon as possible by contacting us.

2. After verification has started

Once our team has begun contacting references, reviewing documents, or making verification calls, the fee covers the work already completed and is non-refundable, even if the report is not yet finished.

3. Once a report is delivered

Reports are non-refundable once delivered, as the service — independent verification and a written report — has been completed. If you believe a report contains a factual error or missed a check you paid for, contact us within 7 days and we will review and correct it at no extra cost.

4. What Relay does not guarantee

Relay verifies the evidence available to us at the time of the report. We do not guarantee the future behavior of any tenant or landlord, and a completed report is not grounds for a refund based on outcomes after the report is delivered.

5. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days via our payment partner, Razorpay.
